Can the X-keys Desktop be reprogrammed or do I have to use the preprogrammed layout?

Quick Answer:

When you first plug your X-keys Desktop device in you can choose to use the preprogrammed layout or you can start with a blank layout. The preprogrammed layout can also be modified if you wish to keep some of the macros but not others.

Further Details:

Choosing a Layout:

When MacroWorks II detects that an X-keys Desktop has been plugged in the following window will appear on your screen:

X-keys Desktop Setup Wizard Window

Simply select which layout option you want to use and click on the Next button.

Use the default setup layout

This option will load the default preprogrammed layout for the X-keys desktop device. You can still modify this layout after it has been applied.

Use a blank layout

This option will load a blank layout for your X-keys Desktop device.
