Does your software work in a Unix or Linux environment?

No. Although our X-keys programming software does not work in a Unix/Linux environment, this does not mean that our devices can't be used. Please refer to further details section below for more information.

PS/2 X-keys Devices
Our PS/2 X-keys devices do not use any programming software, and will work in a Unix/Linux environment.
USB X-keys Devices
To use a USB X-keys device in a Unix/Linux environment you will first need to convert the device to either Memory Resident Mode (X-keys SE devices) or Boot Mode (X-keys MWII devices).
These devices will still need to be programmed in a Windows environment, but once they are programmed they can be moved to your Unix/Linux environment.
